and freedom more
to live my life
as I would will.
A distant dream-
I often felt,
when censure was my
constant company.
But Age shifted the spotlight
and altered my point of view,
lifted the veil of ego
that blurred my purview.
The gleam of wisdom proffered
a greater glamour for sure;
the youthful pursuits now
of not much consequence;
a dispensable luxury
when in time measured;
for of more interest now
seems Reality, Truth.
